Hardback book in dustjacket. The book is in near fine condition with bright clean pages with no marks or creasing. There are no previous owner inscriptions. The spine is very firm and straight with some bruising to the spine ends. The boards are free of marks and scratches. The dustjacket is in good condition and unclipped - showing the price of £5.95. The dustjacket has one significant fault in that the laminate has split along the edge of the spine at the top front of the book. There is also a very small closed tear to the rear top corner of the dustjacket.

Limited Special Edition in a red velvet box with hinged opening. This has the number 13 on the barcode sticker - first 50 were only available to those who queued at Waterstones Picadilly for the launch event. Also comes with promotional flyer from the event. The item is in very fine new unopened condition - still sealed with the manufacturer’s shrinkwrap. The book nestles in a surround of black silk. Inside the front cover is a certificate from the Fleming estate. No dust jacket as issued, the book has the jacket artwork printed directly onto the boards. The book has a silk ribbon page mark and silver-edged pages. The books is signed by Sebastian Faulks and limited to 500.
